Struggle for the Independent States in India

India has refused to allow the self-rule to Sikhs (86%) in the Punjab, to Muslims (80%) in Kashmir, to Buddhists (90%) in Ladakh, to Christians in the North East of India and to the tribal population of central India.

People of Arunachal Pradesh are in a struggle for their proposed autonomous area: Teola country by Arunachal Dragon Force and All Hajong Chakma Homeland Movement.

People of Assam are in a struggle for their proposed state: Assam Bodoland by United Liberation Front of Assam, Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam, National Democratic Front of Bodoland.

People of Jammu and Kashmir are in the struggle (occupied/disputed area) for the proposed state: The Independent United States of Kashmir or Merge with Pakistan by All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Harkat-ul-mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammad.

People of Manipur are in a struggle for the proposed state: the Republic of Manipur by Hmar People's Convention–Democrat, Manipur People’s Liberation Front, United National Liberation Front, Revolutionary People's Front of Manipur, People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak.

People of Mizoram are in a struggle for the proposed state: Zozam by Zomi Revolutionary Organization, Mizoram Farmers Liberation Force.

People of Nagaland are in a struggle for the proposed state: Nagalim or People's Republic of Nagaland by Government-in-exile: Government of the People's Republic of Nagaland and National Socialist Council of Nagaland.

People of Punjab are in a struggle for the proposed state: Khalistan.
